Meet Gizmo, our sweet and spirited little Jack Russell with a taste for adventure—and apparently, rocks! Gizmo gave his family (and our clinic!) quite the scare after he swallowed a stone… yes, a real rock.
Despite his best attempts to pass it off as just a “crunchy snack,” Gizmo’s tummy had other ideas. When his humans noticed he wasn’t feeling his usual bouncy self, they brought him in—and we quickly discovered that this cheeky pup had a not-so-edible souvenir lodged in his belly.
Off to surgery we went! Thanks to our amazing vet team, the rock was safely removed, and Gizmo is now on the mend—sporting a very fashionable little jumper and a bright green bandage that he’s been rocking like a true superstar.
Gizmo’s message to fellow pups? “If it doesn’t smell like chicken, maybe don’t eat it.”
We’re happy to report that this brave little guy is recovering beautifully, getting all the cuddles (and the correct snacks) he could ever want.
